Pool in McCallen TX

I will be in McCallen/Edinburg next week for work. Any recommendations? I see a couple of Fast Eddies and some local places.

Easy Eight's is nice but I don't know where the better players hang.

everyone hangs out at fast eddies in mcallen, once in a while in they'll go to the one in edinburg
nobody really hangs out at easy 8s, too much for table time and the lighting is crappy

Thanks Eddie. I might be up there a couple of nights after work. Are there best nights to avoid leagues? I play APA so I dont mind but would be nice not to get stuck on the crap table.

the apa leagues are on wednesday and thursday, but they're in the back, there's plenty of good tables open even on apa night
there's a 9ball tournament every tuesday 10 bucks to enter, usually about 20 players, races to 4 and 5
there's a few 9 footers by the front door, that's where most of the good players like to hang out if they're not taken up by the drunk chumps
shoot me a pm if you want, maybe we can play some if i'm not at work lol
