Pool in Oakland

anyone have any advice for pool halls in Oakland? I might be there on Thursday and Friday night. Probably will have to be close to the airport. My company is pretty tight.

The broken rack in Emeryville is kinda close, you would have to take a cab, probably $25 each way.

I am not aware of any pool halls in Oakland, if there are any you would probably need a bullet proof vest.

Oakland proper is not safe after dark in most places, it is one of the 10 top ccity to be murder in. Yes there are nice part of the city, but the bad out numbers the good. The closing of NAS Alameda hurt the city bad. It was never nice, but has go a whole lot worst.

Safer suburbs

Are there any suburbs where the vest isnt necessary? I am not a Charger or 49er fan so I figure I got that going for me. :wink:

Damn that sounds like fun but it looks like it will only be Thursday now. With my luck I would have gotten paired up with the one eyed drunk that barely stand up nicknamed "Lucky" anyway.
