Pool is Alive in Athens, GA.....

Just wanted to let everyone know that Poppa Murphy took the Brass Rail back over yesterday in Athens, GA. For those of you that visited the Brass Rail before when Murphy owned it, you understand how bad of a downfall it took when he sold it. They will be changing the name due to some legalities. Then new name will be Poppa Murph's Irish Pub & Billiards. They will be closing down for a week to do some renovations such as new carpet, getting the beer/ liquor license and doing some rearranging. Just thought I would share this on here because it seems that alot of poolrooms have been struggling and having to close down lately. Thanks for reading.

Southpaw, that is good news. Landon and I really enjoy our visits to Athens. Some of our best memories are from Poppa Murphy's room. The Murphys are really fine folks.
