Pool is Oslo, Norway

I do not live in Oslo, but I am pretty sure that some of the other Norwegian posters can help you out with this one.

Unfortunately you arrive 6 months too late in Oslo, if not you would have got a chance to experience the most beautiful poolhall in the world. (At least this is what Niels Feijen, Mika Immonen, Tony Drago, Oliver Ortmann etc said) ;) It had to close down because the owners of the builiding wanted the place to be a shopping mall

That really sucks man:( I hate it when things like this happen. I guess pool halls just can't compete in areas where small spaces have high value...

Any good pool clubs in Oslo, Norway? Anyone up for a game this weekend?

As Roy mentioned, the really nice pool hall called "Elbow Room" has been closed, but the owners have regrouped and made two new places.

One is named "Legents" and is a really nice place which has some of the GC4 tables which was placed in the old "Elbow Room". This is a place where people meet and can grab a beer and plays music. This is a "commercial" place and table charges is pretty steep, I guess it's in the range of $22/hour ....!!

The same group of people has also started another pool hall for serious practice in quiet surroundings. Many players have been helping out and the place is now really nice, some small stuff is left to sort out but for playing this is for sure fine. 10 GC4 tables, fresh with new cloth and leveled is "ready to run" :) Charges is $22/Day for a table.

I have added some pictures during our work (I helped out) so you could get a impression on how the place is. It's not dead center, so you may walk for a while or take a taxi to get there. Please note that these pictures is for sure when we where working up there before Easter...

I would be playing a 9ball tournament in this place this weekend, starting Saturday. So I guess this place would be a little busy this weekend, but "Legends" would be a good substitute and is the place to go if you would like to have a glass of that brown stuff, served chilled from tap :D

The last place I would recommend is out of town and has a little dodgy surroundings since it's in a Mall. There is bowling in the same area and some times kids have birthday parties there and for sure adds some volume on you're ears. Check the pictures I did here :http://www.kendocues.com/Websted/Pictures/Sider/9Ball_Open_1-3.02.08_2.html
There is even a picture of Roy there which for sure have some more post on this forum then me :)

Hope it helped.
In the shape I'm in these day's I most likely have a quick exit and in case I might be able to show you Legends.

As Jon mentioned, drop me a email and I'll try to help as much as possible.

Going for a practice run now and would not be on the web for a while now. Practice practice practice....
