Pool items you think of that won’t ever be made

A 'goldmine'???? Bit of a stretch to say the least. More of a fix in search of a problem. Never heard anyone complain they couldn't see the diamonds. I'd rather have a auto-racker like a bowling pin-setter. ;)
i feel like i remember seeing some sort of auto-racker when pool was on espn2 all the time in the 90's. i can picture it in my head but am having a hard time finding any images online

Sardo rack. Apparently they only worked because they trained the tables before hand.
I wanted to create a product that ionizes sides of the balls with ozone to induce a charge that pulls them together with a weak force. Once they moved the charge would be immediately dissipated into the cloth, rails and air. Kind of like a static electricity “rack”. I never spent anytime thinking about how I would do it. I also don’t obsess over racks or care much about imperfections.

just move the one ball forward an inch from the rack. then it wont matter anymore on how exact the rack is and you can break them open and then play pool instead of an exercise in putting in the balls you controlled on the break.

the break was intended to be the start of each game instead of the finishing of it.

And when you play safe good press the button to say “ooh that’s gotta hurt!” Think NBA Jam….
I like this:
The nail in the coffin!
He’s heating up!
Boom Shaka-laka!

Or remember the NFL films voiced by John Facenda?:

He growls as he runs the table.
A villain big and bold.
The fish they shake,
And quiver and quake.
As he robs them of their gold.

The Autumn Wind’s a rack runner.
Pillaging just for fun.
He’ll knock you round and upside down
And laugh when he’s conquered and won.

First time i saw a Sardo being 'set' was shocking: the dude was literally POUNDING little dents in the table so that colossal pos would 'APPEAR' to be the magical rack machine.

I've never seen one in person but man did they look magical back in the 90s when I'd occasionally see pool on the tv. 🤣

the old wooden racks never really got the balls perfect so that making whatever ball was mostly or entirely random.

and that is what the break is supposed to be. not have a way to have racked and have an almost dead ball.

if they want any chance of 9 ball in the future for pros then they at a minimum need to rack ten balls and take the ten ball off the table after the break.
