Most of them are quite yuck
but the digital pool one is pretty slick i must admit, and low key on the colors which is my style

A similar craze came through the USPSA ranks, thought it was stupid then and it's just as stupid in the pool room.

I get sponsored pros needing a way to integrate logos into their wardrobe but when your a APA 3 and you're wearing a techwear polo with the logo's of brands that have no fucking clue who you are you are noob.

I just wear Speedwick running hoodies over a tshirt in the summer and a champion fleece hoodie in the winter

Most of them are far too gaudy. Gorst has been wearing some stylish, low key ones, as of late. But for the most part hate ‘em. They are uglier than bowling shirts.

We talking for pros or amateurs?

I've seen some pool league teams in Vegas that had jerseys so tacky that they made a beer league softball team look like the 1960 New York Yankees.

Yeah, it's one of those things that I like for the pros. If you're a sponsored full time player you need something to show off all the sponsor logos and I think the pool jersey is a good approach. Many could be a little....quieter...style wise. But it's a better look than the whole suit vest thing from the 80s at least. And there needs to be some level of professional dress at that level. A nice clean polo might be a little better looking IMO, but these are fine.

From an amateur perspective I'm not really a fan, I'm not going to be wearing one myself.

Makes sense for pros to wear them and should be considered part of the "uniform". Jersey tucked into slacks (or skirt), nice shoes (i'm actually a fan of letting them wear bright colors, not just black), and of course a LV belt/buckle . Let them have some of their own style so it's not all black vests and bowties...
The jerseys should be printed though. These stick-on ads look awful and peel off half the time. I've noticed it especially with the Ouschans and Fillers where their flag is just pinned on. You'd think Predator would print them really nice jerseys with the flags integrated (that tiny 3x5" flag looks ridiculous on The Panda's back...).
SVB and a few of the Filipinos have really good looking jerseys with their national flags/colors and sponsors blended in nicely.

For amateurs... I dunno, wear what you like but like bowlers it looks a little strange. I'm usually wearing the same band shirts I normally wear...

Half hypocritical because of the "jerseys" i wear biking, but a large part of that is fit/fabric for the activity and local "sponsors" (breweries 🍻🍻🍻)...

I play on two league teams. We have team shirts. We don't wear them every week, most of us, but when we go to a tournament, most of us do.

They don't bother me.
