Pool Lessons

I have been playing pool for several years now. Few of the things I need work on are long shots, english, bank shots. Is there any good videos out there that teach these in a easy to comprehend level?

bsrutter...Videos are okay, but they are no substitute for one-on-one with a qualified instructor. If you let us know where you are located, we can steer you to a good instructor.

Thanks for the reply.
I am located in Spokane, WA.
Alittle more about me I play in APA and I am currently ranked a "5" Been a
"6" for short period. I think my problem is inconsistency. I know half the problem is practice, practice, practice. So with a busy scedule I have set aside a hour a day to practice and go over shots, which has already improved my game.
I am new to AZbilliards so far doing some searching and found lots of good info that I am trying to apply to my game. I do agree that an instructor looking at your game making sure you have the basic fundementals down first then building from there is the best.

I think you would benefit the most from lessons from Scott Lee or anyone he recommends.
An instructional video is not going to look at your mechanics and pre-shot routine and tell you how to improve it.

I think you have the right idea of practice.
It's not necessarily the quantity of practice, but the quality of practice.

I recently refreshed myself on Phil Capelle's, "A Mind For Pool". In the book, he recommended that you practice until you start to lose focus, then stop. If you start banging balls around, that is not helping you to improve your game.

inconsistency......is usually due to mechanics. If you are serious about getting better (consistent), then video analysis of your stroke is the way to go.
