Pool movie

Hello all,
I was reading a thread about a new pool book that is coming out soon and some people were debating about possible pool movies.
I wrote a feature length screenpaly (and a short) about pool a couple years back and it's been shelved ever since. I've had a nearly impossible time trying to get people to read the thing.
Everytime I see a "movie about pool" -type thread I always want to share my screenplay. There's a part of me that worries about the legal side of sharing intellectual property etc. but the heck with all that.
I think I'm ready to let people read the short if they are interested.

So if you would like to read a "short" (meaning a short snippet that is meant to attract interest to your feature length film) about pool PM me and I'll e-mail you a copy.

Danger,
Hover your mouse over my name and choose send a "private message" (PM) to jrmuckadoo.
I'm not a professional screenwriter but I think the story is strong and it might be worth 3 minutes to read the short.

logline?

This was taken from a PM to another AZ member

The movie is meant to be uplifting but it is rather gritty. The movie is a generational account of a Jewish family that struggled through a life of poverty, crime, gambling, and chemical dependency. The 16 year old main character is a pool prodigy that is fighting a battle between what he thinks g-d may be telling him and what his family (and older brother) has taught him about griffting. My goal in writing the film was to tell a real story. Pool is not just about "hustling" people and g-d is not at all about perfect people. In the realness of pool and g-d there is a "grittiness". I want to bring that grittiness out in a story. I feel like to capture the attention of people (young people) with a positive message there has to be a realness to it....
