Resonably detailed article, with some comments by Pete Fusco. According to this Julie Kelly still has no professional sponsor:

Pretty disheartening that Julie doesn't have a sponsor, but there's just not much money to go around in the sport. In any other sport, winning a world championship would ensure you sposnorship. Another factor is that Julie's win was so surpirsing to most that I think potential sponsors wanted to see more before counting her among the elite of women's pool. Since her WPC title in 2000, Julie hasn't backed it up, with only one top three finish in WPBA play since (third in the 2004 BCA Open). Still, I don't think Julie gets the respect she deserves, and I hope better times lie ahead for her and that she will land sponsorship.

Karen also has less sponsorship than her amazing track record would seem to merit. She has more titles since 1/1/2000 than Fisher, but is still not viewed as having more than a fraction of Fisher's ability to help sell product. Karen may have a little less personality and is less charismatic than Fisher. In my view, though, Karen is a brilliant player and an elegant woman, whose quiet nature has held her back a little. Karen may have sponsorship, but she deserves far better, and I hope more sponsors reach out to her.
