Pool on Roku

I recently received a Roku 3 for my birthday and since ESPN all but snubs billiards apart from the occasional airing of the Women's league from a year ago, I'd like to explore other opportunities to view my favorite sport on the big screen.

Here's what I know, there is content on U stream (which is apparently referred to as Nowhere stream as a Roku channel.) Fine...downloaded the channel.

I also know there are some backwards and complicated ways of getting Youtube through the Roku but the methods sounds like too much effort.

What I'd like to know is am I missing anything else?

I dream of a pool dedicated 24 hour channel and some real popularity (if people watch poker, why not pool?) but until then, I will take what I can get. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I can't answer your question, but I would like to know why we can't get YouTube on Roku.
It's a shame because there is lots of pool on YouTube

Did you check this link?

I have dreams as well...

Have you looked at the roku sdk? If we get enough people to chip in for a developer, we can get a customized channel on roku.

Yeah, POV POOL....I did. That's sorta the clunky workaround I was speaking of. Thanks anyway.

Don't know anything about Roku. I did however just get a Chinese version of the Chromecast stick and it's the nuts. It is my understanding with Chromecast you can get all of YouTube on the tv.

for $35 it seems like a good deal.
