Pool on TV

I've noticed this too. Last I was playing seriously (if you could call it that) was about 2008, and just started back up. But it's like in since I last looked every hall is closed, there's no pro tours anymore, and there's nothing on TV.

I'll have to get into this streaming business I guess, but I do miss some of the better commentary. I liked the 1 ball grudge match that was covered by the guys at accu-stats. That was awesome. I got a free accu-stats DVD with a sub to billiards digest a back in the day, and I definitely prefer their production style to what ESPN was doing.

Most streamers don't have the budget to have super fancy camera work and booths setup, not to mention the space limitations if they are just streaming from a pool room with a tripod or two.

I watched the NJ 10 Ball tournament from Sandcastle and the video was great. AccuStats does the production there though so it's setup at pro level.

If you turn on "Bill's Bar and 1 Bar Table" stream, you probably will see a fuzzy picture with no commentary.
It's a shame pool has gone backward in this regard...
