Pool Prize Money vs Country or Region?

Looking at the AzB homepage, I noticed that SVB is still 1st in the money overall and Mr. Orcollo in second. Now, SVB is ahead by roughly $40k, but SVB also lives in America. While $100,000/year isn't much for a sport, maybe it is for players in other countries or regions?

I'm hoping Jay Helfert can chime in on this.

I vaguely remember Jay telling a story about staying with Dennis in the Philippines at Dennis' home. I believe it was in a gated community. Considering Dennis was a commercial fisherman, how much more is $60,000/year to him? Rather, how much is $50,000/year +/- to a player in a region other than North America or Europe?

I can see players like Mika and Neils getting making sub-par yearly incomes, due to the high cost of living in their home countries, but how does that compare to players in Asia?

I'm from Romania, here, for a decent living the average month wage is 500$, so you can made 6000$ in one year. 50k $ in one year are huge money from a country from East Europe.
