Every player out there has their own rituals , personal quirks, and some irks that they know at heart cant really matter but still cant stroke a ball without going through.
For some it may be carrying their chalk in their bridge hand while shooting (Common) or as out there as having to absolutely have a purple chalk holder in their right pocket if it happens to be a Wednesday
Some people are bothered by things that others may think crazy never the less you cant get over it .
For me personally as crazy as it sounds I can not play with a Sneaky Pete unless it has a wood to wood joint. Why I don't know lol , Sneaky Petes with steel joints , implex joints , ivory joints or anything other than a wood /wood just bother me
