I am hoping someone will remember this room, and help me connect with the owner.
Back in the mid 1990's I went to a pool room in Mission Viejo Ca. and i sold him a custom cue. This cue I designed and I would love to find it and possibly buy it back. I know this is a long shot, but here it goes. The Billiard community is a small close knit group, maybe somebody knows of this cue.

It is a one off cue, made by a local cue maker.
- 4 prong with 4 leaf clovers (Green Malakyte) in the center of the ebony prongs
- Green Irish Linen (Go Figure)
- The butt had 4 pool tables on it. Ivory boarders with individual balls inset in each table
----- 8 Ball - had a gold 8 ball
----- 9 Ball had a gold 9 ball
----- Carom had red balls inset
----- Snooker had red balls inset.

It was a pretty cue and it played well, but I fell on crappy times and sold it. I would love to see it again.

I use to own Hot Pockets Billiards in Palm Desert. I traveled around and played a little, but I knew most of the players and the guys in the industry.

Hope you can help!

That was probably fezziwigs, which is gone now. There were three owners. One player, and the other two pool fans but not players. I take it you sold to the player? He is a good player. He posts over at onepocket.org so maybe start a similar thread there? I'm just not so sure if he'd like me to give out his name so I'll leave it up to you.

If it helps there are three Pool Halls I can think of that have been in Mission Viejo in that time period:

Plush Pockets - Closed down sometime around 96-97 I think. Address was on 24358 Swartz Dr right off El Toro by the freeway (Technically this is Lake Forest rather than Mission Viejo)
Kelly McCues - Burned down in 2006, no idea who owned it. Address was 23162 Los Alisos Blvd
Ste 220.
Big Shots - Still there on El Toro. The owner plays pool occasionally. I don't recall seeing the cue you describe, he had a Tad cue the last time I was there but may have others too. http://bigshotsbilliards.com/

Dan was his first name.
The place was Kelly Mccues..
We played there on Sunday Nights for a while.
Before it was torched to the ground.
