pool rooms in Ft Lauderdale?

I have a friend who is visiting Ft Lauderdale FL...

wants to know where the best rooms are?

any recommendations?

i used to live in davie (20 min west of ft. L) and i used to play out of hot shots. i was down there at xmas time and they just refelted thier tables. they are brunswicks but not gc's i think they are metropolitans maybe. any way they are @university dr. just n. of oaklnad park blvd. if he asks someone there with that address he'll get there or they do have a website. the place is o.k. but not great. i don't know about action. a guy told me when i was there all newer, nicer rooms were a little south in n. miami and miami area (doral billiards maybe? i'll have to see if i can find the notes i scribbled). it's not that far a drive when you''re there if your friend has a rental. i'll see if i can get more.
