The Rack...has Diamonds. Three or more bar boxes and eight or more big tables. Hopefully they have changed the cloth since I was there. I think they are N / N.W. of the airport.
A place on historic Beale street has some old tables worthy of a touristy pic or two.

High pockets has gold crowns and the rec in Southaven MS right below Memphis has gold crowns.
Memphis Action
I live in Memphis and you pretty much have 3 options.... High pocket's is on Old summer rd. and is where I usually go. Has 12 GC 9 fts and some bar tables as well as a snooker table. The rack is on lamar and has diamonds and the best quality tables, however, to be honest, is in a very bad part of a very rough town. The southaven rec is just outside of memphis and has decent tables and good action. If i were visiting and looking for a decent room with light action, I would go to high pockets. If you are looking for serious action, the rack or southaven rec would be your place.

I don't know how you play, but I'll try you some with the first 4.
the rack has 7 bar tables, not sure how many 9 s. i play on a travel league that visits there. its open 24/7 and yea it aint exactly the best part of town but the crowd there has always been pretty nice each time i visit.
i heard there is a bar in town that has diamonds now. its called cheyennes. its open 24/7 also. used to go to it a few years ago before i settled down and it did not have diamonds then but i heard they do now.
there is also another pool hall called sharp shooters with a few 9 s but mostly bar boxes.
high pockeys is my favorite spot, closest to my house. i play league there twice a week.
i dont know what game you are looking for but if it is 1 pocket i believe high pockets would be your best choice.
