Pool rooms near Davie/Ft. Lauderdale

What room do you prefer in or near Davie, FL?
I am taking a trip for the weekend and would like to shoot if i happen to get the chance...

Billiards Club

I play APA here in Davie area. There are couple i go to

Billiards Club, big place with lots of tables, little bit like sports bar. Fun place. And Beyond Billiards .

Both are good.

mostly the better players congregate at Gold Crown on Hollywood blvd and up at John Fosters pool room Corner Pocket. Neither is really close to Davie. In Davie, Beyond is your best shot at seeing good players. There is another room called Big Dawgs which has Diamonds and they run TAP league out of there. There is also a small tournament being run now out of Gold Crown on Tuesday nights. Its a game they call crazy eights. Like 8ball only you have to run the balls in order. So stripes runs downward 15-14-13 etc,. Solids take 1-8 going upwards.

Decent place and reasonable rates...
I would go back if in town again.
I may try the other spot in Davie later on tonight.

I really liked beyond billiards when I was in Davie. Not too fancy and lots of action, mostly small scale. Good tables, they serve food, and they let u smoke.
