Pool rooms near McKinney, TX

Greetings to all!!!! I have a close friend who moved to McKinney Texas just north of Dallas, Plano. He can seem to find any actual pool halls anywhere within an hour from him. There's a couple bars with bar boxes, etc... But no pool halls. Any information about halls and or leagues in his area would be greatly appreciated!

Your friend has moved to pool hall purgatory. McKinney has laws that keep pool halls out. Billiard den in Richardson is about 20 min away. Luke's in Sherman is about 40 min away. The good news is there is about 800 cuemakers within an hours drive.

Rack Daddy's, Billiard Den and Wizard's are all less than an hour away.

I'm not sure if Clicks on Marsh Ln is still in business..
It's close to Carrollton and Addison TX..
They had some 8 and 9 footers in there..
The 8 footers were junk, but I think the 9 footers were either Diamonds, or Gold Crowns.

CK's on Marsh Ln is still open, but the owners have let the tables go to crap.

As far as pool rooms close to McKinney, Billiard Den is probably the best option. It's off of 75 & Arapaho, about 20 mins away. It has a few Valley bar boxes, 2 Diamond bar boxes, 8ft gold crowns, 9ft gold crowns, and a few snooker tables.
