My wife and I are traveling the old Rt 66 (what we can find) from Chicago to California later this month. I am sure I will need a pool "fix" or two along the way. Any suggestions on rooms along the way? Thanks Terry Aeschliman

Absolutely! Billiards of Springfield, in Springfield, Missouri. As a matter-of-fact Billiards is on Route 66 (The Mother Road) at 541 St. Louis St.
If I'm in there I'll by you and the Missus one of the best burgers in town.
Be warned, however, I only play One Pocket.

Sounds like a great trip, I hope the 2 of you have fun!!! Could only be better if you were doing it in a classic car, 63 Vette, 66 Chevelle, maybe a 69 Camaro, Boss 429 Mustang, any Hemi car, boy just too many choices here, didnt even bring up the tri-5s, fat fender cars, or early Fords yet.

Yeah...what will you be driving?

I used to dream of long road trips before medical reasons prevented it. Only mine would be different, since every car group known hits route 66 during the summer. I'd opt for US 20...east to west, it runs from Boston to Newport, Oregon. It's the longest continuous highway in the USA. I'm thinking you'd see more of the real USA along it's route, now that Route 66 has become more of a tourist trap.

Oatman, AZ

If you go thru Oatman, AZ one of the old buildings had a old Brunswick in
it. Can't play on it but it is cool to see. Its been awhile since I have been
there so you might have to ask someone if it is still there.
