Pool scene in the Toronto area?

Hi. I'm originally from Toronto, but have been living in the States for the past 10+ years. So I'm pretty clueless as to where's a good place to play in the Toronto area.
I'm in Etobicoke now & would like to get my pool fix :grin:
Preferably, a place in the Etobicoke/Mississauga/Toronto area where I might be able to play in a weekly 8 or 9-ball tournament or find a little action...nothing big, $25 or $50 a set range. I get bored with practicing & don't mind donating :grin-square: Thanks in advance for any replies!
 
I dont blame you, There is nothing like action in a pool tournament, the thrill of E.R.O ing someone in a game of eightball. I am looking forward fore a tournament here in Edmonton,Alberta. Good luck on your games and hope that you could find a place that has tournaments.

Thanks for your reply, Seether. I've been here in Toronto (Etobicoke) for almost a week now, and still haven't gotten out to a pool room! It sucks not having a car 24/7, so the subways/buses will have to do.

I've never been to Edmonton...heck, I've never been outside Ontario as far as Canada goes, but Edmonton looks like a nice place. Go Oilers! :grin:

wacky wings by dixie and dundas is relatively close to etobicoke. all their tables are diamonds. not sure if they have tournaments.

shooters in scarborough for tournaments
 
wacky wings which is on blundell and dixie has a 9 ball tournament every sunday at 2pm. Entry's 25 for that.

Shooters which is in north york has tournaments on saturdays, mondays and wednesdays.

404 is coming up as well which on saturday at Bigwigs in newmarket.
 
pool tournament

there is a small tournament every Friday at the moose lodge at Browns Line and the Lakeshore blv. W it starts at 7pm. 3753Lakeshore blv. W
