Anyone know anything about this light. It appears old to me, the ceiling plate has old looking stickers under it. I seems like it may be real brass. I upgraded awhile ago and it is in a closet, If it is worth a decent amount I would rather it go somewhere nice.

In not sure that style light is in demand today.
Is it large enough for a 9 ft table .

Brass is worth around $1.70 lb as scrap.

It's not Tiffany , but it's not junk either. I think it is modern made to look antique, but it looks cool and well made. Hard to tell much from the picture , if you send some close ups of how it is held together , that will tell more about the quality , screws bolts , etc. I doubt you could replace it for 300. 00 even if it is a modern repro, and it might be higher if really well made. imo. Close up pictures will help a lot,

I will get more pics. My table is three piece one inch slate, and is stamped I think 1976 or 79 on the side of the slate. I got the light and table from a basement of a older couple who passed and the grown kids where selling it all. they said it had all been there sense they where kids. I will measure the light it is likely a bit small or a 9 footer but fine for a 8, which is what it was used with. I have moved to LED. I figure it is worth 3-500 but could be alot more, so here we are. thank you all for reading and helping.

The light has limited value unless it has an ID from a signature glass lamp maker such as Tiffany, Pierpoint, Handel, etc.

Without significant antique value - it is simply a billiard table light with a very old fashioned motif. You would then have a very limited buying market for such a light / and an internet sale with the shipping logistics probably would not yield much actual money in your pocket - I would recommend consignment to a local antique/ consignment dealer where a sale would not result on your shipping headache - also recommend something like Craig’s list or facebook marketplace for a local pick up sale

I mostly agree and plan to sell localish
but wanted to make sure both myself and the buyer gets the correct deal.

Well, if this light is mostly real glass and brass- and not plastic parts, then it has some value as a nice older motif billiard light- depending on the size applicable- to either a 7,8,or 9 foot table- I would say $200 to $400 in your pocket is reasonable.

Those 3 light fixtures with that style were all the rage in the 70’s. I had an 8 ft. Home table with one very similar to that one. Instead of the old auto motif, mine had the traditional graphics of billiards and poker hands on the glass. Value might be a bit more than one would expect. I think anywhere from 600 to 800 bucks would be fair for one that is in good condition.
