Hopefully in the next couple months I will finally have a table again. I am looking for light options for a 9' table. I am considering building one vs purchasing.

Anyone have any links or dimensions required for optimal lighting? Any help or creative ideas would be cool. Thanks in advance.
 
If you get two fixtures something like this that has square ends and sides rather than the crown molding design, you can use them without much effort. You won't have to enclose them at all, just hang them end to end with chains and wire them up. You will have an 8-tube, 8-foot long light fixture that works reallly well on a 9-foot table and looks nice.
