I was just wondering what the measurements for the spots are when positioning the 1 and 9 ball and also the triangle from the bottom rail on a pool table?

If you have an 8 oversize table, measure 23in. out from the end rail and 23in across from the side rail. If you have an 9 foot table, measure 25in. out from the end rail and 25in across from the side rail. All this is based on the fact that the distance between the side rails actually measures properly. An 8ft table should measure 44 in from nose of cushion to nose of cushion. Often I have seen them measure 44 1/2 or some other odd dimension. The best way I have found is to measure the width beteen the cushions and just place the spot at the half way point.
