Opinions on Harvard/Mizerak real slate bed tables.

So I'll ask here.

Came across a 8' Harvard 3/4" slate bed table, not slatron. Good price already disassembled. Pick it up and take it away.

How solid is the base and legs?
Are they basically the same frame and legs as the tables offered with slatron beds, or are they stronger/ more durable?
Other areas of concern?
What do I need to know before pulling the trigger?

in my humble opinion, you would be better off without a table like that.
they are cheaply constructed and poorly designed.
get a better table, you will thank yourself later.

I agree ^
'Home' tables should have the prefix 'ly' added.
There are a lot of good commercial tables around, begging for owners.
 
Stay as far away from those tables as possible. Worst slate tables ever. Cheap materials, poorly constructed. Keep looking, you can do much better.
