Pool table slate repair

There is a good 9' table in my dorm - I forget the name of it, but it is quality.

The problem is it needs recovered and new rails.

The major problem is that there are 3 spots on the slate where it was "crushed." There are about the size of the dime - someone apparently can't masse.

Is this going to create issues while recovering it? How can that be fixed? How much extra will this cost?
 
Probably wasn't from masse'ing but some kid being a smart ass and throwing the ball down as hard as he could compressing the slate. Saw some kid do that they other day and I asked him WTF, said he was seeing how high he could bounce it...I just shook my head and walked away. I think they can use bondo or wax to fill the holes and smooth it out prior to reclothing.
