Don't fully understand your post, Stick8, but it seems you're disappointed about what happened in that South Carolina game yesterday. I didn't see the game, but I saw the footage, and I agree, there's no room for that kind of behavior. Still, I think what happened in the Detroit-Indiana NBA game a few nights ago was much worse. When so-called professionals go into the stands for the purpose of attacking fans, it's really a serious matter. I'll be very pleased if the NBA comes down very hard on the pros who embarrassed their sport by their behavior.
The tone has to be set at the pro level. I believe that if pro sports come down very hard when athletes step out of line, this discipline will flow down to the college sports.
