Just curious, I was born and raised in Monroe. Who is running the tournament? And does Chad still play?

Must win by two.. Interesting, Has there ever been a tournament like this other than this pool room? I don't know of any others that are races to 7 and must win by two. I kind of like it..

Is this a true double elimination event? As in the finals the loser must win two races to 7 to win the event from the winner of winners bracket.

So it's a $60 total entry with open tables, no pay right? I understand green fees so I know it's a dumb question. They would probably make a killing if you had to pay for the tables like a lot of others do. Most are $1 per game on the boxes. Gets expensive..
 
Yea 60 Is All You Have To Pay...the Tables Are Open On Sunday And Yes Every Match Is A Race To 7 Must Win By 2....AND YES DOUBLE ELIMINATION

I'll be driving in from Dallas on Friday. Looking forward to some Johnny's and Ray's PG. Hopefully I'll get to watch some good action too.

YOu wouldn't go very high in the Calcutta, maybe like $55 or so. But now you're talking about one heck of a drive from where you are.

I wanted to go and play the tourn and make some bets on the side for the Scotty match but as you said it's a long drive..

So I will not be going..

I need to move to a new area because where I am now is horrible.. Every tourn is something like 4 to 5 hour drive..
 
monroe tourny

just an update on the w monroe tourny. seems to be action already. i was told that gary abood and joey barnes are going to match up today, and tomorrow scotty and hennessee are suppose to play . also ricky mcmillan/chris miller supposed to play friday . kinda hard to imagine, but i was told they already have over 100 people in. don't see how they can play everything in one day. looks like sunday play too. however, on the good side, calcuttas there always good , and lots of people to gamble with. if anybody is looking for a good tourny, this sure looks to be one
