Pool video's to watch on line

Every once in a while I do a search on google for video's and I'll strike gold. Now I just need solly to fly to Ohio and set up my computer for dc++ so I can save all the video's on my computer. (I tried, pulled my hair out and quit.)

You really wanna pull your hair out? Try burning what you DL off of DC++ to a DVD. THat will make you want to pull the PC out of the wall and throw it out the door. I still never figured out how to burn them to DVD. My next attempt is going to EMail them to a friend that knows how to burn things I guess, and send him the $35.00 worth of DVD-R's and DSVD-RW's that I bought for this so called easy project.

Then we can relate, but you got further along with it than me. I felt like punching the screen!

DO you have Cable or DSL for service? Also I have found that if I have my router hooked up I cannot use my "Strongs DC++" program. THere is some good stuff on the interpol site, however some of it takes FOREVER to doenload.
I am more than happy to try and help you out.

Yes I have a SBC dsl hook up.

DO you have a router? and have you downloaded a DC++ program yet? If not, do a search for "Strongs DC++" that is the one I am using.

Copy the files to CD's so they're saved. You can then watch them on any PC and burn to DVD later, when you figure that out. I use Roxio and converted one large .avi file to DVD but LOL I haven't made any more because I forgot how.

Hi Bill,
I actually did burn one to CD-R. Then went to play it to check and see if it worked. I got a message which said something like " cant find what created file." I stopped after that in fear of creating catastrophic failure to my PC.

Hey Renard,

Do you go to Airway Billiards or Play Time on Linden Avenue? I ran dc++ for a while and maybe I can help you with it.

I actually frequent both places but not regularly. Belmont Billiards in the same token as well. League is now over so I will be hitting the tournements more often. Maybe we could meet up at one of these tournements?

use dvd santa to burn the files to a dvd. You have to change the format to burn to dvd thats why you are having trouble. DVD santa converts the files for you and it is free.

Go to videohelp.com they have all kinds of info on how to convert almost any kind of video file.

Okay with me. I won't be at either tournament this week but I should be at both of them next week.

What you doing heh?

Trying to get me fired?? You can't just tell people about this stuff and not expect them to just sit here and watch matches that they would not normally see. So here I sit all day on that site now watching this crap!! Oh, yeah and another big thanks to Colin for the nifty little recording tool link.
Oh, yeah, and a great big bear hug and a kiss (on the cheek) to you for the gift of these awesome little links.
:) :)
