Is there anyone out there that has written a business plan for a poolhall? I am looking to open one up and I don't even know where to start when im writing a business plan. I have gotten all the prices for tables, equipment, bar setup, etc but I don't know where to start. I need to get my idea on paper to present it to the government for a loan or grant. I think it would go over fairly well because lots of people play pool in the small town i live in (20,000 people) and the nearest poolhall is about 45 minutes away. Also this town is a huge tourist stop and in the summer the population doubles and even triples. There isn't any internet cafe's around either so i would put 8 computers in the corner for tourists to check thier email on. I know it would be a pretty damn good business. So if anyone out there already has a business plan made up that they wouldn't mind shareing please reply to this, PM me, or email me.

Thanks,
Ryan

ryan i did the sba loan 5 years ago for the poolroom that i bought the business plan is essential and is really useful to you as the years go on. I went to the library and read up on them but basically you just start with what you would like to do in year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, . Be real careful with adding the computers because what you want them used for and what people will use them for are entirely different. Check that very carefully. if you need more help e-mail me and i will assist you.

i think you need a businessman to be your partner. a businessman will keep you focused on business, and NOT that your poolhall endeavor is a fantasy dream come true.
