I got a copy of it and watched with a non pool playing friend yesterday. Always funny as hell, good entertainment.

Worth watching for the 'be a lion' scene alone. Walken was perfect for that part.

The speech explaining cultural differences in the use of a descriptive term based on skin color. That made the movie worth it for me.

Ernie Reyes from TMNT2 is in the movie, that was a fun cameo.
Young David Krumholtz (TV series Numbers) plays a funny virgin.

Its a fun movie with easy scenes.

Yes, it's worth a viewing once I think. Mars (the director and main actor in Poolhall Junkies) should do a movie about his own life. He went on to play pro poker for a while, then scammed people out of $8M by promoting a fake "Poker Junkies" sequel, then got sick and wound up in a wheelchair.
