Poolhall prices

There has been some discussions about table time lately, but (at least) i have not been able to spot any talks about other prices in your place to play.

This is not to make battles between places but more like creating discussion about what you pay and is that reasonable or not. I suppose that nobody will say that everything is dirt cheap but hopefully none feels to robbed too.

I'll start. In my normal place food is not that expensive, of course it's not gourmet, but nice anyway. Sandwiches starts from about 3$ and some warm meals from 4$, of course you can have just fries and those are about 1$. Drinks are then as follows; sodas and juices around 2$ and beers starts from less than 2$. Wine also around the same and stronger drinks starts from 2$ and goes up to 6$.

So that's what i mean, not the whole detailed menu with complete wine list but some basic info to give people some ideas of price range all over.

Coffee: $.50 (one cup) or $1 w/ unlimited refills

Soda $1 per can

Beer starts at $1.25 I believe.

No food, except some ice cream and a vending machine. Lot's of takeout menus, though. :)

The room is kept clean, the equipment maintained, and the staff is friendly, as are the regulars. There are even some free weekly tournaments. The table time is very reasonably priced, as well.

Just the basics

Canned soda: 50 cents
Iced Coffee: $2.00
Hot Coffee machine:30 cents
Pool time from $1.25 per hour/person to $3.60 per hour/person
Cue Rentals $1.00
Adjusting the thermostat without asking $100.00

:) :D I have no REAL Pool hall. There is a place in HB with 10? tables. I stopped there yesterday and nobody!! was playing as usual. Now I would never go there when I guess the Kids come in. I guess that's how it stays opened??
So I walk to my Local Pub. 50 cent tables. All other bars in town are .75 or $1. Only chips and beer nuts. Food on holidays only. The manager/bartendress Renee sure can cook. Plenty of food closeby to carry in. Plenty of want to be pool players wander thru so business is good. Oh I don't Gamble, accept maybe a drink. I Will however play for the discount on the cue they want to buy. It either costs them $80 or the ebay price of $65.
A lot of them are getting better!

The $1.25 hour rate is called our "Pool Fanatic Special" You prepay your pool time for the day to get that rate. Its good for customers who want to play all day and come and go. Its good for us because we dont have to keep clocking them on and off all day running charge cards for 5$ pool times etc. You pay once and you are done. It just saves us a ton of headaches when people are going to play all day anyway. I forgot to mention we always have free pool on your birthday too. I guess that is the AZBilliards Birthday Special!

Pool Sharks in Vegas charges $4.50/hour per person during "prime time" and $8.00 unlimited play M-F 8-5 per person.

Why do they charge "per person" on an all day rate on a table, it doesn't make sense to me.

The place is filthy, if you order food it comes out of the microwave, and the pockets are falling out of some of the tables.

(think about getting store bought chicken nuggets nuked) GROSS!!!!!!
