Where are the good pool rooms in Louisville? Not really looking for action. Just good clean rooms with alcohol:rolleyes: Any rooms have Diamond 9 footers?
We will be downtown and out by the airport.

I second that. The people who play there & the proprietors are as nice as the equipment. Its also quiet & now smoke free. Light snacks & beer as well as other beverages & off street parking are available.
 
I was in louisville last year and i went to both places... Bank shot is a great place to go... traditional pool hall... I went to Billiard club on a friday night and started playing some guy $100 a game one pocket and by 10:00pm it was like a dance club in there (LOUD music, 1000 people-none of which were playing pool and standing very close to the tables) as you can imagine not an ideal situation to play somewhat high dollar one pocket
 
My wife and I checked out Bank Shot Billiards last January while we were at the DCC. Its a very nice, traditional pool hall and you don't have to post your money on the light, they still have the bank vault. All I saw were Diamond table and not very many people on an early Saturday afternoon. Then we drove by the Billiard Club but didn't stop in, cause it looked like a typical sports bar from the outside. Next year when we return for DCC we plan to stop in at Bank Shots for a couple of relaxing hours before the action heats up at DCC.
