Anyone know of a nice place to play in Atlanta? I will be there for a meeting in Feb. on a Sunday thru Wed. am. Any weekly tournaments to play in? Not sure what hotel I will be staying at yet. Do I need a car to get around?

Not familiar with the geography there, but I sure would like to visit that one if I can get there. Thanks!

there is a Monday night tournament at Cues, hanicapped, single elimination 9ball. Free Practice starts at 7pm, play starts around 8-8:30 gets a good sized filed. If you get in early enough on Sunday the Marietta Poolroom has a 4 pm 9ball tourney no hanicapp and double el. woman pay $7 and you can practic free from about 2 until tournament starts...

If you can only get to one room, I'd suggest the newest Poolroom in Duluth, it is beautiful, non smoking!

More info about Atlanta please...

Looks like I will be entertained from Sunday night on and they are not going to let me out of my jail cell, then I fly to the Bar tournament in Reno from there. So I made my reservation today and I am going to have all day free on Saturday and thought I would hit one of the Pool Rooms. Saturday in Duluth is 9 ball and in Marietta it's 8 ball. Which tourney would you recommend and how many people are typically in them? Is there a weekend tourney somewhere near Atlanta? Thanks for all your help.

Usually 25 to 35 at Marietta and I am not sure of Duluth.
