Poolrooms in Atlanta?

I'm going to Atlanta next week on business. I don't know if I'll have time to get to a pool room but I'd love some recommendations in case I do. I'm staying at a hotel at CNN Center and won't have a car so hopefully there's something close by. I'm not looking for games; I just want a place I can go and practice (if I have time to go at all.)

Downtown you've got Barley's Billiards; it's right off Peachtree Street and about a 5 - 6 block walk from where you'll be. They have only Brunswick 8 footers I believe.

If you're willing to jump on Marta ($2.50 each way), you can go down to the East Point Station and go to East Point Corner Tavern (right across from the station), they've got 4 9 foot Gandys; I believe they do league on Tuesday and Wednesday though so you might not get a table on those nights until later.

You could also ride the train to the Decatur Station and go to Twain's, which is about a 1 block walk from the station. They've got 11 Brunswick 9 footers, and great craft beer that they brew onsite. :thumbup:

Pretty much anywhere else you'd need a car, but hopefully those three places will work if you've got time.

Thanks. 8 footers are fine. Hell, 7 footers are good when you're working on fundamentals and simple position play.

According to Google maps Bailey's is a 15 minute walk so I'll probably go there if I get the chance.
