Are there any good poolrooms around the downtown Pittsburgh area - -preferably within walking distance of the downtown Marriott?

None really in walking distance. The best room in Pittsburgh is in Dormont, Its called Breakers. Paul Mottey owns it, they have a bunch of diamonds and a few gold crowns too. It is probably the closest to where you are. Theres the Golden Cue in south hills and the Cue and Cushion which is in the south hills also if you want options.
