Popular j/b with leather tip??

I posted a thread in the cue reviews section, but i wasnt getting many responses, so i'll pose the same question/scenario here:

has anyone tried putting a leather tip on the Gulyassy's? if so, could you describe your experience?

or has anyone put on a leather tip on a Stinger??

i ask because i really dont like phenolic tips...

Leather tip

Jerry will put a leather tip on his stingers if you want, also a good jump break with leather tips is Jim Aldren in South Dakota i am very pleased with the out come. It jumps well and breaks awesome. my .02
