Porper shaft wood or taper?

Is there anyone familiar with Joe Porper cues and possibly the taper he used or shaft wood? I had a cue of his years ago and was forced to sell it because I needed the money at the time. Got engaged. LOL Since his cues are so rare now and it seems nobody is moving them and I would be afraid to use one as a daily player anyway, I just wondered if ANYBODY could help me find something comparable to the hit of his cues. It was so incredibly stiff like todays LD shafts but solid wood and I have never felt a cue in my hands since that one which I felt as confident and comfortable with. I am currently playing with a Hills' cue which is great, just not quite as stiff or solid as my Porper. Not sure if it is a difference in taper or shaft wood. Sorry to ramble and I apologize if this is in the wrong area. Thanks for anyone that may be able to point me in the right direction.

Can anybody give me ANY info or point me in the right direction, please??? Going insane trying to find anything that hits like my Porper did.

I would have someone build you a shaft using a Porper lathe. I would assume that is the lathe/taper that Joe Porper used.
