I was fortune to be in Porto this weekend, and please let me share this with you, i've seen hundreds of 3 cushions games, Blondhal Vs Choi and Tran Vs Jaspers are 2 of the best games i´ve ever seen.
The Tran Vs Jaspers can be seen in Kozoom

About the other game Blondhal Vs Choi, the Swede didn´t play a great game, but Choi showed a game construction with a very high level, great play, it showed that it wasn´t luck his recent 26 serie in Korea. Unfortunatly this game isn´t avaiable.

Dick Jaspers won the tournament but it could go either way, no doubt.
The Dick Jaspers games Vs Tran and in the final Vs Fourthomme, showed that he has a heart... with the size of the world, no doubt, very high tension

Best regards for all

As I read the results on the UMB website,
http://www.umb-carom.org/AP/cm/PG129L2/Union-Mondiale-de-Billard.aspx
in the Tran/Jaspers match, the match went to penalty points and Tran ran 4 while Jaspers ran 9 from the break shot. (Or maybe in the other order.) Is that correct?

I also see that three players did not make it out of the round 0f 32 even though they had averages of 2.000 or more. Bury, Soumagne, and Kasidokostas were the unfortunate victims, and Soumagne with a run of 16 against Jaspers in his loss.

Jaspers was playing with the yellow ball, and he was always behind, it was only when he made the 40 points he passed Tran by 2 points.
Yes Soumagne made a 16 points serie, but i don´t know why it was a Turkish Bayatli Ahmet who won the highest serie with 13 points.
One more thing, in the Belgian semi-final at the break the scores was Ceulemens 21 points and Forthomme 5 points, it was immediatly after the break when Forthomme made the 12 points serie passing the score to 21 to 17 , in other words the 12 points serie brought him back to the game.
