'Play into a funnel' may be one of THE best tips ever. Was watching Sigel play the other day and he's always coming down his next shot line. VERY rarely does he cross it.Fantastic Info!
That's good .a lot easier to remember when a really good player shows you.Thanks.Good stuff.
This is a very good vid ! The great players of the 50's 60's and 70's That I grew up around knew all of thei and more, But they didn't share ! lol'. I had to figure it out by watch the great ones in the bleachers at Beenies. They all came there, month after month, year after year. I see so many players shoot the one and scratch their head about where to shoot the 2 ?? !! This one vid alone could fix 60% -%70 percent ofGood stuff.
Of course. He was just pointing a few VERY common mistakes. I couldn't tell how many players is see try to play shape by crossing the line of their next shot. Best part of the vid imo.All well and good but you need a reputation of getting out every time and from anywhere before the opposition can be tamed into playing this civilized kind of pool. The way I see it, all the positional options should be available and used otherwise you'll be just a ball in hand player and food. Good video otherwise.
Yes agree. I just keep seeing this Billiards Digest diagram with the same info by Nick Varner IIRC and probably similar years before that. Surely there's more wisdom to pool patterns than that.Of course. He was just pointing a few VERY common mistakes. I couldn't tell how many players is see try to play shape by crossing the line of their next shot. Best part of the vid imo.
