I am trying to become a person who looks at the positives in life a bit more.
No, i won't try to put a positive spin on KT and the IPT, simply because I can't.
However I wonder what would happen if all those of us who threw money at the IPT, knowing it was destined to fail, would be willing to 'risk' the same amount on something less risky. I mean if we were more willing to support the WPC and Matchroom, or other sponsors. Perhaps Accu-Stats, US open,DCC etc. I know a lot of people do, but I wonder what would happen if everyone that gave KT money would spread it around to these folks. Would that generate enough revenue for these companies that it would elevate the payouts and the sports as a whole?
Maybe we can learn to be more willing to part with our dollars, even without promises of multi-million dollar payouts. The IPT got more than it's share of cash with these lies, but if we all volunteered our support of the rest of the industry, would it be enough?
I, for one, intend on being more supportive of the industry, in hopes that it will be elevated to the point that pool won't need or want another KT or IPT debacle. That might be the only positive I see in all of this. Just curious what everyone else thinks
