Yesterday I was reading about a wonderful cuemaker who lost two cues at Christmas while shipping with USPS. He said they were insured, he got paid but like all good business people, his concern was his customers, not himself.
I thought to my self, in nearly ten years, I have not lost one yet.
When I shipped the very first one, I asked the ladies at the counter what their advice would be. The two ladies I deal with most love Pool and so do their husbands, they had an enthusiasm to help me.
I was told to not put anything on the box that would let anyone know a cue was inside, never use a company name.
I was also told to not use a printed label, use a fat sharpie pen and write large for the rare eye that sees it.
100% success, hard to argue.
Thanks for reading, good day.
