post to ask for the "who are the honest sellers" thread made a permanent sticky

just a thought, that the "who are the honest sellers" thread should be made a permanent sticky...

I would be more apt to agree to some sort of rating system similar to "rep", would be much more efficient then scrolling through pages and pages of names and descriptions of what was purchased.

I think everyone pretty much knows everyone else here though. I do and haven't even been trolling for long. ;)

ya, i was thinking of it more for new people that might not see or know about the thread

but i do agree on the scrolling thru pages of posts, not very efficient but much better than nothing at all...

instead of keeping lenghty and unneccessary posts, just post details of transaction, ie: name/handle, good/bad rep.

also i think the rep thingy is rather useful in identifying a good seller.

i dont see how making a thread a sticky that has almost 15,000 views already, would be a liability issue....

unless you are talking about some other kind of feedback system...like thingie's post

could you please elaborate for me.

People, as individuals are always welcome to discuss how thier transactions went. It's when the board sanctions this that I am concerned with.

Frankly, It is Mike's call, so my input is merely an opinion.

Why not post something like anyone had any DEALING with (Insert Name here) ? If so please PM me.

Feedback systems

How about making it like ebay feedback systems that will show the comment and who issue it?

What if, instead of a sticky, Mike could create buttons just like the 'Rep' points buttons...like thumbs up/thumbs down? They could accumulated just like the rep points, only anonymously, and they wouldn't take up nearly the bandwidth.

T'was but a thought.
