For those of you who have been around for a few years, you would remember the tourneys ran at the Bowery Bar in Indy.
At any given tourney the winners side would be Jarvis, Bowman, Oaks, Wines, Brumback, both Whitey's from Ohio and Missouri, etc. Tony and Joe were always good for staking their horse Steve and there were some great matchups there.
I remember Doug Smith and Jarvis matching up there for a rather large ahead set and watching Doug put on an exhibition on running racks with a bigger cueball.
Most roadies had come through at one time or another and people like Joyner, Richeson, Mccanich, Kitto, Goodwin, and others showed up every once in awhile.
