I know this has been probably covered before, but I would like to post some pics. How do I post those large size pics? Any help would be great.

Just go to photobucket site and sign up then upload pics. Then to display them on az just start thread. when you want to insert pic just click on yellow mountain icon at top of comment box and put your direct link from photobucket in. you will find the direct link to your pic on photobucket under your pic. Just copy it and then paste it. A 5 megapixel pic works best in my opinion. Hope this helps.

maybe I can get an advice here, on how to place a pic in a signature? I've tried this and that but always get system responce "unable to upload image"

V,
It sounds like you have not uploaded your desired image on to the internet, or have had it "hosted," so that the AZBilliards' forum has a place to resource it from.

  1. Click the "User CP" button under the AZBilliards logo on the top-left of the page.
  2. Down the Control Panel links listed on the left-hand side, click the "edit signature" link.
  3. Apply the
    COLOR] and [COLOR="
tags around the web address of your uploaded image, which must be done firstly before you can attach it to your signature. I'd still suggest http://www.imageshack.us

Notice the RED arrows pointing to the
COLOR] and [COLOR="
with the web address to the uploaded photo, and the resulting graphic in my signature.

Here is the web address:
http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/5138/banner2cq9z.jpg

Here is what happens when you put the
COLOR] before and [COLOR="
after that image's web address:
banner2cq9z.jpg

These special
COLOR] and [COLOR="
tags are like codes for telling the website that, "Hey! there's something inbetween that I want to show up as an image," hence the abbreviation and the back slash, ending the code.

There are many examples of this simplifed coding. Notice the pattern of [whatever you want it to do] and [/whatever you want it to do]. If you take the spaces out of these codes below you get:

Bold text:

[ B ][ /B ]
Bolded text

DarkOrange colored text:

[ COLOR="DarkOrange" ][ /COLOR ]
DarkOrange colored text.

Inserting a web address:

[ URL="the web address typed here" ] [ /URL ]
www.google.com

et cetera...

It takes some practice and application, but I hope this helps! PM me if you have any more questions or if it's overly confusing.

yeah, I might have been confused by "upload from your computer" option and tried only that one...

thanks, I'm pretty familiar with tags and BB codes, although not deep enough to run a Notepad and create a web page ;)
