PPG's Deltron DC-2000

Has anyone used PPG's Deltron DC-2000? PPG says the only product they recommend for wood is DAU75. That is slow drying and cannot be wet sanded and polished like an automotive clear. Perhaps it is ok to use the DC-2000 if the wood is selaed first with epoxy or perhaps PPG does not recommend DC-2000 for wood in general and has not considered that finishing a cue is very different than finishing something like a tabletop which can move quite a lot compared to a cue.

DC-2000 would be very conveneint to use as it dries very fast. You can sand and polish it after letting it cure for 30 minutes. I have seen DC-2000 used on a shotgun stock and it looked great. However, I don't know what it will look like in 20 years.

Wood needs to be sealed of course. I used to use DC2000 for the longest time and I absolutely love it however I found something else that puts an amazing finish at a fraction of the price. The price for PPG just went nuts!!!
