Just thinking about AZ Billiards and all that has been accomplished with this fantastic website.
I was just wondering if there is a need for PPV forums.
The reason I was thinking about this is, if Instructors or Pro Players had a desire to have such a thing, they could start a forum that was monitored and it would cost the posters to participate in it. The posters would be held to a certain code of ethics promising not to repost information that was posted in the PPV forum. They would be required to give their full name and contact information so that there would be no anonymous trolls hanging out just to cause problems. Maybe a monthly fee because if most people are like me, they go through phases where they want to learn and also when they just want to practice what they've learned or just play.
The Instructors and Pro Players are trying to make a living at pool and have something to offer.
With all of the various degrees of talent on the AZB forums, I was wondering if people would pay a fee to read material direct from the Instructors or Pro Players.
AZB could charge the PPV fee and share the revenue with the Instructors or Pro Players.
I know that instructors and pro players don't like their "secrets" being given away free of charge and if they had a monetary reason for sharing the intimate details of what they offer, maybe they would be more inclined to "share".
Just curious what the rest of you think.
