Practice practice practice

Practice Naked! By that I mean sans chalk.🤷 Not that the other naked could'nt happen, when it warms up.😉
On my opener shot which is head spot to foot spot double kiss. I think I have 3 maybe 4 treble kisses. Anyway.. where was I (Ramblin'Rose)? Oh yeah, if I take the tip down to the point of click...... I get amplifier feed back as soon as it leaves my tip. I achieve maximum (my max🤷) precision when I am focusing on the tip-ball contact. So to channel Yogi..... I watch. The focus needs to be more than just the optics. Mental focus on Be Here Now. The Big Eye was explained to me by David Rhoades.
Tangent alert: Lenny at the White Spot (Right Spot now) would put 5 local players in as well part of the house added. One of us was referee for each of the 5 tables. With the reputation of the by/yearly $35 race to 7 nine ball. We got all the best of the Northwest. With visiting Legends. SwannE made it once. Cole made a few. Flyboy made a Cameo. Anyway, The Players would schmooze the refs.🤷 Could nt hurt. The big Eye was laid on me during one of those moments. Imagine the Shot. Ooops The Big I.

Talking while shoot has historical downside for me. However I am finding that posting while Chasing... bringing out the show off of the left. Provided the near miss on the Treble. Hey they are rare enough to warrant sighting reports.😉🤷

My morning big I is uh ,.the Yoga morning stretch. The draw back, wait advantage is mental picture of favorite in leotards stretching......ooops. ok find my way back. Something Ronnie put on display at interruption. Choreography starts while seated.

Sans chalk would compare to driving in the snow. Take a '56 Ford half ton. Put bald tires on it and take it out in 6" of snow. When Done properly no need for chains. That experience for me led to me taking our 16 year old Daughter to the (fittingly) ice rink parking lot for our first freezing rain in Tacoma. Major bonus for her driver training. I drove her to school until she got her permit. The first thing I noticed she had learned from me was, the phrase, "C'm on Idiot! Make Up Your Mind!"

The first shot..... Practice the form to perfect. MOST critical is. I will call it......In The Beginning. Hope God doesn't sueme.
I 💕 the way Ronnie recenter . Center Me Center Ball Center Pocket. My new Try Fecta.

The luck of the left is real for me and Ronnie's report indicated that was his reason for breaking off left. My first competition breaks left handed in both 8 and 9 ball produced Golden breaks.

Using my sandbox as a tool. Not being a tool😉
Posting then return to table. Freaking lefty just hit the quad. #2!!! Now if I can just get the other side to pay attention! The right can gain inspiration. After all he is supposed to be stronger 💪.

Guess I have made my point. Better sign off. I will be thought full. And find another diversion. The thought of the day.......is......
Uh?........ Refocus! Hope I got it right. All I have left. Marching

My baseball analogy would be. We don't swing for home runs. Hit for the line drive single. If I hit it "too good" it leaves the park. Ken Griffey Jr either set or tied the record for consecutive games with a home run. Seems like 8 or 9. The game that ended the run included a line drive that hit the wall in straight away center. 6' up!!!!

Moving forward with the training facility. Got wife's little TV by replacing it with one that fits the cabinet better. So now have ability to record then review then discard.... trifecta. Also creating graffiti on the wall... because it's mine.😉 The numbers are meaningless but they are mine.

Ernie Jennings:
Whew, hope I made it back in time. Surely have ruffled feathers.
Oh yeah, The Claw, give 'em the claw.....one of my favorite chants. Watched Ernie (hope the memories are name) beat a Triple team. Saw him make 5 touchdown catch in one game. He made Cliff Branch seem common. Military obligation at the time was uh Cruel and Unusual. Kind. Of like the exclusion of Female. Might have stayed 😉.
Where was I going with this? The claw was all I could see when the pass was thrown to Him while he was not visible because of the 3 white jerseys all in arms length. His arm extension in perfect harmony with the pass. The ball arrived the Claw opening to receive. Arm retraction perfect timing with. Body movement finds gap. Just like Efren did with the cue ball.....ooops tangent to jump by Efren very rare but...
Found opening and within 2 strides was out of reach!!!!! Touchdown.
Just the facts Mam.

Neked practice and the sensitive parts.
Seriously. Just under my sense give uh nipple. Flash back: Tool room gal was upset that I asked for a pipe nipple. Didn't know what else to call it. Sure give quick feedback on other than forward movement.

#87 by Barry is titled about the elbow but flows right into the coordinated aspect of each part of the linkage.

Ships log: Sunday Funday! Chalk IS allowed!
Ah the age card. Wait it's Seniors Snooker Champion play ing now on Matchroom. A real bargain at $5/month.
At 69+1, I have to recall Mr Kinney. Oh the work ethic! I started training under him in construction at 10. As a labor er on the construction site. Lesson 1 was ,"if you see a board with a nail in it, you have 3 options. You can bend it over, You can pull it out OR You can go home."
Mr Kinney's strong suit was Masonry. My first leave from USAFA gave me 6 weeks the second summer (right after flying a B-52. Well only half hour.😉). So my parents lined me up with a job with Mr Kinney as a hod carrier. "Gee Thanks" was all I could say. I mean 18 years old and.......
Mr Kinney and I poured the foundation of the bleachers at the new high school.
Anyway when I was 29 and he was 69. We did a block building. 8-8-16's was what the blocks were called. Wet and green they weighed uh 35 lbs. The harder I worked to make it easier for him.. the harder he worked to stay ahead of me. Mr Kinney had done homes for Radio and sports legends. Casey Stengel and Phil Silver we're 2. He also built tract homes in LA where he did one a day. He had told me that 500 blocks in a day was a Good Day.(In LA summer the blocks would be lighter) First day takes longer because of setting in corners. He worked until the perspiration dripping from his nose had blood in it. Summer in Redding CA. He set 425 that day. I slowed considerably the next day.🤷
He taught me Craftsmanship as well. With the big job like Phill Silvers spend 4 days on a huge fire place / barbeque. After unexpected dislike. Knocked it down and started over. So the way he put it to me was. If you are getting paid $50 for it it's what you can get done in an hour. (The $50 allow for inflation, back then it was $10.) Just using the skills you have. I can't be pulling the tape or level out as often.
Watching Ronnie: the time he devoted to each step was telling as to where he wanted to be on the scale. A pitfall I found early on was trying an artificial slow pace. Then after I recognize that hazard I need to be aware of the speed ticket. The easy ball miss. Can't recall, well nope can't remember a miss on an easy ball... the whole tournament for Ronnie. A real tell as to his focus. He obviously did the training and now mention provides training at an academy. Looks Good 👍

Ah the cyncronicity. I was just getting excited chalking my tip. No really the sight of the naked tip as I apply a thin even coat of chalk . My method uh resemblance to Ronnie is gratif... well reinforce my method.
Was waffle until the comments during Efren match with snooker comments turned to chalk. Seems someone was sans chalk. Anyway I try to emulate Ronnie right down to the prefer chalk of Triangle.
The thin even coat dedicated to Mr Kinney and crafts man ship. Proper application is a tell. A true hustler will disguise the chalking.
Bar table 8 ball ment playing with chalked balls. Gotta' love the nickel size powder puff on the cue ball after Joe A player breaks. Just Sayin'.

Oh wow David Lilley just showed how to make the black when teeth are gritting.. should be in the finals...... next. I think 😉

The Change of Plan. Gotta love the comments. Gotta love The Seniors.
Story time: My first two ventures into the Northwest netted first place in 9 ball when I was object ball last. Then after required 2 year sit out I won the 8 ball against a Worthy opponent. After he won the first set from the losers side. At the handshake I asked, "how did you get in the losers?"
Seniors phase II was Nationals in Vegas. 8 ball and I prevailed in a epic battle. Upon return to room I looked him up. He finished 7-8 in the same decision the year before. I probably puffed up a little.😉 The next morning I encountered him in passing going to tables. He pointed at me and said, "you got 1st in the north west!" I simultaneous point and said, " you got 7-8 last year!" Big smiles.😁 Back to regular program.😉

The forged in fire is the advantage of the losers side. If I make it to the finals from that side, I am playing back to back. When on the winner s side I can accept losing the first set as normal. Should have settled enough to make it a level field. Worked in two big Finish is.

Lilly so far putting survival on display.(my strong suit) Less than perfect with good basics can get me there. Well sometimes.😉 Need to survive until My Focus arrive. Sometimes hard to remember where I parked it.🤷
