Practice practice practice

recreation
Well my first CSI recreation highlight:
Before our first match, I was hitting balls on one of the assigned tables and I hear my name. Our league director has just identified me to their Manager. " Our Ringer" was his identification.(I prefer Hitman 😉 or better still Master🤷)....... Hmmmm, So my first break is dry and spreads the balls better than my usual second ball break. I definitely prefer a clustered table after the break. My opponent, obviously their best player, runs out. Perfect shape on every ball. Grrrr...My second game was a dry break by my opponent. And I ran out. Out of line on every ball but refused to miss. Maybe a couple of extreme shots😉. After the handshake I turned to their bench, pointing at #1 ....I said, "He started it!"🤷 All smiles and chuckles.

The Trilogy or is it Trifecta? So much in my reality come s in Trinity. Anyway my second Highlight results in my loss of game. However what my opponent did to win was over the top. No literally! Right when I had execute a spot on safety, he pulled out the jumper. Hopped over the blocker 6" away and came down in time to pocket his ball only 6" behind the blocker 🤷 Then he executed a bank that from my angle look like a kiss but he had micro room and made it too. Big Smiles at the handshake.

My puppy pad opener. Pick a ball, any ball.

The rising sun coming through the door dictate the cue ball pad placement. Adjust as the sun rises. Putting body but not head in the warmth coming through the open door.

The Puppy Pad Piddling is a Powerful Practice. My weight training started with sets of 10-8 and 6. That's the base of my selection of reps for one handed to 10 first. Helping to build a good solid foundation.
Had to apeal to the rules committee again on this result. The cue ball is on the pad but I detected no touch of the cueball and object ball. Committee says call it The Heartbreaker -0, next.

Ships Log 3-9-23: Right hand making quick work of the one handed race to 10 with an 8 point shot sitting on 2.
12 ball in the hole =3. Touching balls =3. White on the pad =2. The picture is jamming the system. Oh well same as above only touching.🤷
Standing in the warmth of the rising 🌄 sun.
Warm fingers make the practice fun.
Off to Mosconi to 8 and don't forget the postures along the way.
Stretch and flex the whole time.

Well I am all Right this morning. Right crapped another 8 point shot to close out the Snooker stance to 6.🤷
On to the Chase.

My physical therapy for the left (impact shoulder, must have stiff armed the left turning car). Balance the cue on the arthritis thumb is 2nd . Being in touch with balance leading to more accurate strike on the cue ball.
Then on into the jazzersize dance to warm All the muscles. Finger tips to toes. I never know when I might survive by a toehold.🤷😉

The economy of gravity?
Centers and balance point s.
Taking the opening one handed to 10 and hill hill, making me feel balanced..
It's the journey not the finish that I am enjoying in practice. Making it easy to enjoy extraordinary performance in competition.
Ah the form work. I enjoyed the fine wood carving but made my money doing concrete formwork.🤷
The Ladies put on display of formwork.
The comments are spot on at times. Just a little overbearing at other times.🤷 Still a good production. I was surprised when the Fargorate of commetor was mentioned. 640.....

The Puppy Pad taken to the Chase becomes The Alien.
IMG_20230313_084221115.jpg
Offering multiple points available 😉. The 4th Alien is marker for next ball spot. So pocket the 5 and snuggle to the 7 with touching and in the holes adding 9 for the 10 point shot.🤷 Simple Right?

Puppy Pad Pidling:
Start with a deck of 4 Aliens. Toss 3 on the foot line and deal the service pad to the head string. Place 3 target balls in holes closest to the pocket.
Puppy Pad points:
3 for in a hole
3 for touching balls
2 for on the Alien
1 for over the Alien.
Go to 10 one handed
Go to 8 with Mosconi stance
Go to 6 with chin on cue.
Alternate shot Left vs Right.
Each stance gets one of the 3 target balls.

Oh wow, just having too much fun. Just bagged an 8 point shot. After all the measurements to confirm in the hole and on the Alien while Touching.I am not sure which hand shot it, as the cue was laid on the table. Guess we call that challenge a draw. On to the Chase with Alien targets and points.😁

I wish I knew what the heck your posts mean. 😜

I wish I knew what the heck your posts mean. 😜
Don't feel bad, sometimes I read them later and wonder myself 😉.
Could be the meds. At the dispensary they ask, "Medical or Recreational?" My response is always, "Religious". 😉
Sometimes it just means my fingers got cold and I am standing in front of the heater. Other times I try to pass on good stuff I find. Stuff like Barry Stark and now Stephen Hendry.

This post means, I was pulling tack weed and it started raining.
3 ball variations are my favorite pass time exercise for break times like this.
Now for a brief word.(sales pitch) The Handy Dandy Alien Puppy Pads. Come in package of 4 with 3 white and 1 yellow. The Deluxe instructor pack comes with 3 white and 2 yellow.
Just pay shipping and handling.😁
My challenges are designed to exercise both my physical and mental. My favorite Yogi ism is, " half the game is 85% mental.
3 ball variations are my favorite for a quick break. Break 'em and kick 'em was a very rewarding practice. Especially sharp and useful tools to bring to a 1 and 2 ring game. The Break and the Kick, that is.😁

While I might not know the meaning of the Puppy Pad Challenge. I know my intention.
Let's break it down.

My intention is to perfection, realizing that it's impossible, I my goal must be as close as possible.
My observations of the snooker display incredible speed control. So the multiple reasons for starting each session includes speed control. After aiming of course.
The aiming is emphasis in the one handed. Ronnie Allen was GOAT at one handed. Freehand always, no touch or rest on table.
My aiming process follows the 3 steps from one handed thru my competition stance. With each locked in along the way, allows me to make my final focus very fine on the precision strike to the cue ball. The mechanics are taught well by Barry Stark. Once they are habits I can give the mental half the 85%. Making bad habits oh so hard to break. It's worth the sacrifice to start over. Adding the other hand proved to be a good start to breaking bad habits. At first it added laughs and giggles. Now it provides competition.

My Intention:
To provide a narrative of my current Fitness Program.
My Goal: To have people address me with terms of endearment for years to come. As in, "that Old C S'er can shoot.🤷

Here's a good look at Ronnie's form. The camera work gives a good look at all aspects of his process. Even a couple of good looks at his eye patern.
