Practice table ?

Has this ever happened to you ? It's happened to me a few times during my life, and it happened again today. I'm back in the corner of the pool hall, playing on the billiard table. Some kids are playing pool on a nearby table. They get curious and come over to ask what 3-Cushion is. Kid says, "Is this a practice table?" Now, I always try to be nice and so I explain the game to 'em and demonstrate a shot. I want to be a good ambassador for billiards. But what I really want to say is, " Yeah, it's a practice table, you ignorant f*cker. I need to practice 3-Cushion until I can run 6s and 8s real regular and then maybe I'll be ready to play some Stripes and Solids with you and your dumb-ass friends."

ive had a few times people will come over and ask how do you play this
but the practice table part is funny

they didn't notice the table construction/quality might have been a tad better than almost any pool table THEY might have been playing on
aside from a diamond, which they wouldn't know the difference from a diamond or a academy brand pool table
probably. .....

Yes that has happened to me before. I like the times when I can Preach the Carom Gospel to people who are curious about the game. Other times people just like saying "not so nice things" to me I usually shrug it off, but I undertsand it when you wanna say its "yes, it is a practice table you ignorant bleep bleep : )
