Practice what I Preach

Aaaargh Fun with the sun makes station 2 a one eyed practice......hmmmmm interesting.

One eyed Righty got it! A 2-2-2 for 6 and 18 score is enough to close the door on station 2. Weezer off we go to number 3. Three rails or more to the king orange stripe 13. Ready set go.

Lefty found it and closed the session with a 6. The one eyed practice was educational. Hmmmm and fun. 🤷‍♂️

I really get a kick out of the way you think! You get me thinkin’.

I like your left/right practice with the paper. I do this thing I call, “Da Clusta Busta.” (You have to say it like you’re an old skool gangster.)

3 balls clustered together in the rack. Started as a way to improve efficiency at 14.1. Perpendicular cue ball off the rail into stack is almost always the baseline. Do your darndest to hit the right side and speed. Adjust to hit the other balls or keep on pivoting that 3 ball cluster around itself to reach the limits of your angle and create a new shot. Helps with my cluster breakouts and finishing off a solid safety.

Headline oh the day
Grampa Lost His Shirt...caution.
Looking for 2 to the 12 . Found the 3. 🤷‍♂️ uh that means 4 or more to the king ball
Both hands got to 10 on the opening 1 rail to the teal 10
Off we go.....must be time for tunes.

That suited my Right to the tune of a Maximum. Shrug 🤷‍♂️ 3 rails 3 for in the hole twice and 3 for kissing.

4 rails is available. Just when I was ready to abandon the search. Right finds it with a 5. Yep it's now mine! Right claims with a 9.
That was fun. Now I'm done. 🤷‍♂️

I like that! Willie Mosconi was my first coach through the library.
A short draw drill with 5 or 6 balls in a semi arc in front of the side pocket. Take ball in hand on the first and try to run them all into the side hole without touching a rail.

Precision movement of the cueball is required to excel at 14.1. A skill that 8 ball requires as well. Much more close quarters work than 9 ball. The longer distances covered in 9 ball and restrictions on next ball make the precision just as important but harder to obtain.
Control of the white rock ......
My morning program is about therapy . Primary is physical with a 1 hour target. Dancing around the table. And son of a gun, not only is it fun......I am moving from walking to run. Of course the crawl comes first. It's a lot easier to crawl using.....left right left right......am I Right? 😉

Monday funday: The luck of the flop left a simple starter ....set.

The one two three dance step. 🤷‍♂️
The cue lays over the pad and on the first leg of the 3 to the king 8 ball. Well a Maximum gets a Trophy 🏆 photo.
Just like clock work. Start with 1 rail to the leftmost 12. One handed of course. Then slide over to the 2 rails to the 15 near the spot. A bridge and upright stance. Then the 3 to the 8 ball. Ronnie O'Sullivan is the form I seek to emulate on the final target. I Don T know butt it seems to work. (For Me);)

Soooo, when I finish the challenge early I move to the next.
My version of Stephen Hendry's line up is next.
If I succeed at traveling a single lap.....Three ball free for all! Well a quarter for the table.....Right?😉

Tuesday morning after league night.

The drop gives the chance to solve the puzzle before the dance.
OK pretty simple. One to the 13 is easy and leaves a nice 2 railer to the teal 10.
Lefty is having a good vibe and leads 24-6 and still going 2 to the 10. 🤷‍♂️

Using the camera
First the Grampa story
OK Gramps forgets the story 😉

Lefty is pictured at 10 seconds.
Press the button and turn to table complete full squat as part of survey. At 10 seconds left is shooting second after Right in next picture.

Was a slow starter and all is well.
Lefty scored off the side pocket point.....but touched the crotch of the other 2 cue balls. Definitely not allowed to tou ch the crotch. Touch the crotch. 😉
Still 0 to 0h.
Gotta go

Lefty prevailing with a 5 takes Right to the Z bank. 2 to the yeller one ball. 4 service 8.the stick a nd balls picture?🤷‍♂️

Oh how quick hot it got. 13-6 is enough for target 2 today. 3 to the king is speculation in picture. Now to finish.....sweat and all.

Lefty mapped the way wih a 5 and 4 Right following Lefty's lead hit the Maximum
3 rails
5 king hole
3 kissing
1 whitey over the pad
12 ain't bad. 12 ain't bad...gotta go.

The dance… Love how it is referred to that way.

Gotta have your tunes for that morning jam session.

Said you was a driver, so down the road you go:

Was gonna say sumthing aboot John Fogerty’s brother putting nails through the speaker cone of his amp to get a distorted sound, but he did it about a decade and a half too late.

Willie Kizart is credited as the guitarist who pioneered the sound in 1951:
